I have been replacing all of our bulbs with these. At first, it was a little expensive so I only did the ones we use often, but lately at my local Walmart, they are very affordable. — I only have about 2 old bulbs left in my house. — I bought a little meter that I hooked up in the cellar to just my lighting circuits, and I have noticed savings already. (Of course we don't use out lights the same every day, but it's enough savings to know that it's real) — They don't burn nearly as hot either.
