I love the car seat but hate the base. I drive a ford edge, my wife a kia spectra. In both cars the base is not a good fit. No matter how well you install it the base still moves around. We have found that if you use the belt with the car seat alone you get a more secure fit. The car seat doesn't move at all once the base is taken out.
