These Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponges are the ONLY thing that will clean our bathtub. My wife and I live in an older (rental) home and the bathtub is very porous. It is very hard to scrub soap scum and mildew on such a rough surface but these sponges cut right through it, without scratching the tub. It has a softer side to use on the shower walls and a rougher side for cleaning the tub.
