I have the bisssell bagless and the suctionon it is incredable.  It cleans so well.  It picks up cat hair and everything on the floor.  The noise is loud but other than that you do not need bags and it is easy to clean the filtes.  I had an expensive vaccuum once but it did not do the job like this bissell did.
