When I first moved to Ohio in 2003 I immediately accepted a car insurance policy with Geico. Their rates were comparable and less expensive compared to other insurance companies such as Nationwide and State Farm. When my husband and I purchased a home in October 2006, I called to receive a quote on homeowner's insurance and their price was $2,000 a year compared to $300-$500 per year for competitor's quotes.
