I used this item for the first time the other day. It was great! I've always used a spatchula to chop up the meat. With the Mix & Chop I didn't have to stab at the meat and constantly flip it. All of it was done in one motion and there were no large chunks when I was done. The clean up was a little more difficult, though. I don't have a dishwasher and it was hard to get in between the arms. Other than that, though, it's a wonderful utensil!
