as a puppy, the shiba inu is a cute little fur ball. they grow to be only about 20-25 pounds. they come in many colors, mostly red and cream though. we have one that has a lot of red and black. as a breed, the shiba inu does not make a lot of noise. we had a female and a male, the female never barked, but our male occasionally makes a little noise if he hears a sound, and howls at firetrucks. however, i dont know if hes more vocal because he isnt fixed, or not. down side to the breed, they shed 2 times a year, and its a lot of fur. but they are such sweet, playful pets that are great around kids....read full review »
