I just purchased my '03 vibe about 6 months ago, and I absolutly love it.  It drives very well and has pretty goog pick up for a 4 cylinder.  This is probably because it has toyota parts under its hood.  The vibe is like a toyota in the body of a more affordable american car  I have'nt had any major problems, and I put a lot of miles on the car driving about 80 miles eavery week day  The car does have a lot of power starting up, which can be a problem for fuel efficincy if you start too fast too offten.
