Well, my 2nd generation ipod is my 2nd ipod; my first "mini" died and couldn't be revived by Apple, so.....ran right out and got another, (2nd gen. 4gb....but wish I got 8!) ....why? Number one reason: User-friendly. The click wheel on ipods is by far the easiest to use; you don't even have to look to know where all the functions are, definitely a plus while at work...and the boss wants to chat....

And as far as iTunes goes....yeah, there may be other online music services that offer "unlimited" downloads.....for a monthly fee. But really, I don't purchase more than $15.00 worth of songs in a month,...
