A few years ago, I went to a vacuum store and thought I was going to buy a Dyson. The salesman explained that a Dyson has plastic parts and when you need repairs, you have to send them in to the factory rather than just bring them to the store and have it repaired faster.
So he showed me the Simplicity Vacuum which has metal parts and was a commercial grade vacuum. It was less expensive and more powerful than a Kirby and I was sold right then and there.
So, for $300 I went home with my new vacuum. I've had it for 4 years now and I use it almost every day and it is amazing. I have two big dogs...
