this is a great invention. So simple but yet so effective. It cuts out one step for me which is greatly welcomed in my house. I have actually noticed that I buy fabric softener much less so making it a money saver as well. 

I don't like to add fabric softener to my towels so I just pop it off when I do my load of towels and then pop it back on when they are done. 

I would like to know what affects it will have on my dryer though. Dryer sheets are hard on your dryer filters so wonder if this will be the same. Haven't been using it long enough to see any noticeable affects.
