I've been a reader of Dress a Day for the past several years.  Dress a Day is the brainchild of Erin McKean, a lexicographer who is based in Chicago, who also loves to a) wear dresses and b) sew.  Her tongue in cheek sense of humor, fixation with pockets and novelty prints, and straight forward take on different styles of dresses is refreshing to read.  I generally read her blog first thing in the morning, and always like to see what she's found.  Since her sewing skills far surpass my own, I have found that I've learned a lot along the way, as well.  She frequently shows patterns available...
