Shopping for a new washer was not exactly on my top things to do list but the time came and a new washer was due. I shopped around on the Internet and in local appliance stores looking for just the right one. I needed a washer with a proper agitator. The agitator is the middle upright piece inside the washer that pulls your laundry down while being washed. My old agitator didn't pull anything down, it just mixed them up.
