neat freak, Mr. Fix-it, a green thumb
While this compact unit provides fast warm up and is very light and easy to use, we have only owned it for 2 months. Tomorrow it goes back to Wal-Mart for an exchange. The end of the coil at the terminal burned in half and now it is nothing but a portable fan with no heat. I'm teetering on whether to exchange for the same unit or a different one. Since I've found no other reviews yet concerning the Holmes Portable Heater coil burning out, I believe I'm going to go ahead and give Holmes one more chance. We have another of the same type unit and it is currently replacing this one in the bedroom....
