    faulty carafe costs more than a new coffeemaker

    This coffeemaker seemed like a great idea: a stainless steel carafe that can't break. The problem with it is that the seams on the outside allow water ion when washing and the lid to the carafe allows wash water AND the brewed coffee to enter. It's always dripping in your cup or on the counter. The price to replace it is more than the cost of a whole new machine, although the company says it is "new & improved". They cannot say, however, that the seams don't leak!
