Nice, simple design. This vacuum works well in small or tight spaces but it doesn't have very good suction. Suction is very important to me in a vacuum. This is what seems to pick up what I need picking up, ie: dog hair, dirt, etc. This vacuum will not work well in cars or on pet hair. It is good for simple dirt on stairs. I have tried using it on furniture but it does not seem to pick up much. My husband bought this for me with that specific use in mind. It seems to sit in the closet most of the time.
