I absolutely love the Conair straightener.  It is the one with the smaller plates.  It works so well.  You do have to be careful and not burn your hair because it gets so hot.  I don't have to go over and over my hair, one, sometimes two times has it extremely straight.  I can't see where it could work any less than the more expensive brands.
