betty crocker products, like the oatmeal chocolate chip cookie mix has been one of my very favorite.  I can turn cookie mix into date bars, topping for a new twist of apple crisp or simply make the betty crocker cookie mix as suggested on the package and then add some raisins or coconut for a different flavor.  I have also added pineapple , coconut flavoring and pecans to make betty crocker hawaiin cookies and my family thinks i'm a full fledged magician.  Eating betty crocker oatmeal chocolate chip cookies right out the oven is the best way to have your cookie and eat it too, with milk of course. ...
