I recently purchased this windown Sharp air conditioner a month or so ago.  I thought there might be a problem fitting it into my window because I have a very large window!!  It turns out that it fit in my large window with no problem only after making a few minor adjustments.  After finally getting it to fit into my window correctly and finding the correct height of a wooden stake that I happened upon to make sure that the part of the Sharp air conditioner that is on the outside of the house is propped up to a decent enough level so there would be absolutely no chance of this air conditioner...
