Home schooling had been succesful in our family with 4 different children, mostly the early grades attended public or private school to get social development a push. Some others didn't,  all in all the 4 kids that graduated are doing very well. I to started my kids at home but with working 2 jobs and a non participating wife are kids went to public school starting in late elementary and they to are doing fine.
