I really love my Canon Rebel Xti. This is a great starting camera for anyone who would like to start a profession in photography or just people who take a lot of pictures! The color quality is amazing and the menu is very easy to use. I think a couple things that I didn't like about this camera is the starting lens isn't the greatest at all. It doesn't zoom very far and you can't get THAT close to your object. It would be nice to start with a telephoto or macro lens, or even something with a little more range. Another quality that may turn beginners off is the lack of the Live View on their LCD...
