I have had many and would not buy anything else now. I use this in my basement for the grand kids to play while I do the laundry. Our feet are toasty warm and our fingers don't get cold. If the dogs have to stay down there for awhile I also use it for them so the floor and their rugs are not so cold. They seem to be quite content with it. I have also used it on by back porch on a chilly night just to warm and dry the air a bit.
