The Pilot G2 gel pen is smooth writing, comfy in the hand and doesn't smear or run. I work as a food server and carry these exclusively. Available in 05 and 07 size for fine or ultra fine. You can also buy refills so it cuts down on trash waste. Look for good deals on multi-packs at stores like Walgreens and RiteAid. Available in a bunch of neat colors too. Be sure to carry a spare because folks you lend these to have a way of "forgetting" to return them!
