Although not the cheapest choice, my selection of a Kenmore Gas Range was partly based on the reputation of reliability and good service. Unfortunately, I received neither. After a grease spill, despite very careful clean-up the range caught fire internally. The so-called "sealed units" apparently aren't so well sealed as to keep out a simple spill that would be a normal cooking experience.
