My 8-year-old cat came to life at the sight of this. I don't know what it is about the Cat Charmer, but it's worse (better?) than catnip for my cats. If I had the energy to hold the toy that long, they'd be lunging and diving and pouncing for hours. The string/fabric stretches and seems pretty durable (it hasn't torn for me, and my cats get pretty violent with it), and my cats seem to love how it bounces back once they let go.
