This heater was a great value at my local big-box hardware store, especially after the winter season's clearances. We use it to keep our family room warm without having to turn on the whole house heater. It struggles with large rooms or high ceilings, but does very well in small rooms with normal ceiling heights.

If you are going to use this in a room with high ceilings (or adjacent to a room with high ceilings, where your heat will tend to want to escape), I would suggest turning on a ceiling fan to help push the air down in the room of interest.
