budget diner, not rich, into trying new things
Mi Casa isn't a pretentious restaurant but it offers excellent Tex-Mex food and traditional Mexican food at reasonable prices. The servings are often too large for me to eat, but most will find them adequate portions. The menu is so varied that I have yet to try it all. I've not found an item that wasn't well-prepared and delicious. I especially enjoy their enchiladas which I can get with a variety of fillings and sauces. Each comes with rice and beans and makes a complete meal. Where they are a bit weak may be the dessert menu, but they have an apple-pie dessert with vanilla ice cream...
