My daughter, now four, loves Baby Einstein and Little Einstein movies and books. We've got the Baby Animals DVD and a selection of Little Einstein shows on tape, and a couple of the Baby Einstein books, like the art and colors one. The Baby Einstein movie, especially, is engaging without being too annoying -- she loves the light music and colorful puppets and toys used, and I love that it's not filled with smarmy dialogue. It's nice to know that she's being exposed to classical music along the way, instead of just advertising jingles, and she surprises me sometimes with what she picks up from it....
