Let me start by saying I am the proud owner of a German Shepard, a Begal - Basset Hound, three cats and a ferret. There is a lot of hair in my house, and no matter what I use there will be more hair the next day. However the Dyson DC15 "Animal" vacuum cleaner will pick up the hair off hard wood floors, carpets, area rugs, curtans and where ever else the hair might end up. The Dyson's competition is the Kirby. The Kirby is just as expensive but it looks like an industrial dinosaur. At least the Dyson looks ergonomic and flashy. I really dont like the idea of paying five hundred dollars for a vacuum...
