If you have ever watched New Yankee Workshop you will have been warned by Norm Abrams to always wear eye protection. When I work at my lathe I add full face protection to this warning. This same additional protection is also important for welders. — The Uvex Bionic Face Shield gives me this added safety when I turn on my lathe.
