I have had the American express credit card for several years. I initially got it because it had a great balance tranfer rate. After I transfered the balance none of the terms they had initially offere were true. Then shortly after having the card they dropped my credit limit down to my balance. I have a credit score of 700 and there was no reason for them to drop my balance like that other then they aren't extending as much credit due to the current economic conditions. Well where I once only held a 30 percent balance on the card now I am maxed out and it is affecting my credit score because...
