Ancestry.com is a great online resource for anyone interested in researching their family history in the U.S. and a variety of other countries. Between census records, vital records, military records, old phone books, yearbooks and a myriad of other resources, everyone is bound to find something about their family. For serious genealogists, a subscription to Ancestry.com is practically a necessity. For the casual researcher who may not want to pay the subscription price, Ancestry.com can also be accessed free in many public libraries around the country.
