I picked up Robin Jones Gunn's first book in the "Sisterchicks" series at my favorite bookstore (Goodwill). I expected it to be "fluffy" in both the literary and spiritual senses, and although I wouldn't classify it in the "deep" or "thought-provoking" category, I was pleasantly surprised.
