    Informative study that is relevant to us now.

    I purchased this book to use as a source for my thesis (Sociology).  I found it to be very informative and enjoy Diamond's writing style.  Diamond is very descriptive and explains how we face choices that are similar to past societies that have collapsed.  Diamond explains how environmental protection, such as the Clean Air Act, have the potential to save America billions of dollars.
