My dust bunnies have turned to tigers since getting my Wii! I love it! Instead of cleaning during nap time I am working out.

Can not believe it is back to school time! We had the best summer. Lots of visiting, beach going and acting like tourists in our own town.  I will miss having my big girl around. She is off to third grade. I am planning on checking out a playgroup with the little one and doing the story time once a week at the library. I would love to get back to dance class, but babysitters here are $14 an hour! All my friends work and have older kids and no family close by...stinks.

ahhh, summer! been checking out all our local beaches and having a great time! We had a clambake last night and it was perfect. OUr kitchen is now tiled and looking great. Now on to the yard...  

Been a while. Very busy battling headlice, keeps coming around. Luckily since I got the note home a couple months ago, been doing a nightly head check. This has paid off big time! i have caught it before we became infested. Two other families have had their kids out of school for a week at a time!   No school missed here. It is just such a pain to keep on top off, but worth it.

The garden is growing, must be all the rain!

A friend gave birth to her son who didn't make it into this world. She was our daughters teacher for 2 years.(she looped) Trying to find the words to comfort and there aren't any. Very much dreading telling our daughter who spends time with woman every week. Sometimes life is so sad. I feel so grateful my two girls are here.  

when will the sun come and stay?! We want to go out and play. Also have some yardwork to accomplish. We are planning our summer, well some of it. Have to keep my big girl busy!

It has been very cold here! Still waiting for spring. It will probably pass us by and we will wake up one day to it being hot! I have been using coupons and shopping the specials at the grocery stores, it's kind of a hassle, but worth it when you see the "how much you saved" at the bottom of the receipt. My big girl has been sick for a week so we are off to the Dr. today...home from school.

The sun is out, the weather is warming  and my perennials are poking up.

we are doing some home redecorating projects. We have one every year. Now we are redoing a family room for our daughter's bedroom. Her old bedroom is getting a huge make over for her sister. This is the type of thing my husband and I like to do...except paint. Does anyone really like to do that?

it is freezing here! this is the year of the endless winter. When will spring get here?

my hip is doing better and the deadline for the art work has been extended...two really good things. No snow yet really here on the cape.  I still need my haircut. :)

Almost done with all my shopping! I have been hired to do some art work for the cover of a children's book. I have no free time to work on this, or my own space. oh well, I am used to getting by on scant sleep.

I need a haircut! I wish a stylist would come to my house. I look like a 70's reject. Baby has stranger anxiety right now and want to be attached to my hip 24/7. Thank God she is so adorable and happy once there. :) Speaking of hips(weren't we?) Mine is out of whack and I am getting physical therapy. I have to schedule around my husband's schedule, which is a drag. Thankfully the therapists have early evening  appointments. I have not bought anything new for me. We did get baby dovey a new high chair we really like. I may find time to review it!

ah the fall...It is so beautiful.  We have been enjoying the outdoors, even the dogs seem more peppy. I can not believe how busy I am with nothing to show for it.  I can't even stay awake long enough to watch the good shows!
