I have owned the Nikon D200 for almost a year now. It is an excellant camera and I've had much success with it. It is a 10 mega pixel, which helps with quality and file size if you like stock photography. You can start taking quality pictures right off the bat without having to play with adjustments. Once you become more familiar with the camera, then you can fine tune it however you like.
