This is one of my favorite short stories by Stephen King. I was one of the first in line the day before Thanksgiving to see this film. I was hoping one day that they would make a movie out of this story but I was glad that they waited. The Special Effects would have been horrible if they had made this movie even five years ago and the story line hinges on the believability of the things in the mist. — — The movie stays true to the short in most ways and that is really a good thing.
