When I bought my house I had wall to wall carpeting installed.  Between the new carpet and my rottweiler, my old vacuum cleaner died.  I went out and bought the Dyson DC 15 Animal and instantly fell in love.  This vacuum is great.  It picks up  every thing that is on the floor.  Nothing deters the Dyson.  I will admit that the Dyson is very expensive, ($525.00), but it is worth the money.  You will not need a new vacuum cleaner for a long, long time.  One of my favorite features is the bare floor button.  My dog stays in the kitchen when we are not home and he sheds all over the pergo...
