Its small, and cool looking, but once you get past that, there isn't much there. The buttons are so small I kept mistyping, the browser makes it hard to leave the Cingular "walled garden", and the earphone plug is proprietary (and they don't include headphones with the phone.)
Also, the only way to get it to sync with a Mac is to buy third party software, put the phone in "airplane mode" ie "no phone service", and then sync it. Which is expensive, annoying, and mean you can't use the phone as a modem with your Mac.
Its a great idea, but a miss. I'm waiting (and saving!) for the iPhone.
We havent seen you in a while... just stopping by to say hello. Would love to hear some tips from you on what a gadget geek woud like for Dad's Day. Any tips?
