This is the first SLR camera. I would have bought the original black one unless this limited edition come out. The design and exterior look of the camera does not matter as much, however, i'm loving it catches people's attention. Interface and functions are pretty easy to get used to, and to learn for beginners. The color of the pictures comes out somewhat more vivid than other brands' DSLR cameras in the same class. It also offers digital filters for various effects as well. I think it's perfect for people new to the SRL world!
