I bought an XPS 63 days ago. It stopped recognizing the hard drive after 40 days. Dell has sent out a tech 3 times and I've been on the phone countless hours to fix problem. Cant fix it. They've tried everything except replacing one little part the tech needs. Cant get part, they wont replace it, they wont fix it, so I have an expensive paper weight. The funny thing is after they replaced hard drive and cd/dvd drive I got a fedex from Dell saying that the XPS has had problems recognizing the hard drive and that if you install the enclosed firmware it should solve problem.
