The Big Chi flat iron is a lovely product in terms of performance and appearance. It heats up very quickly - within a couple of minutes. I have wavy, extremely thick hair that is prone to frizzing a medium amount. As long as I brush or comb small section prior to straightening it, the work looks professional. If one has problems with the Chi, I would suggest smaller sections, making sure it is combed out properly, and going slower. If one does those three things, the results will be professional and very smooth and sleek.
