When my Mac  broke I bought and eee pc and I love it.  Of couse it cannot compare with my mac but for the price its perfect.  It is so compact you can take it anywhere.  Its great for people who just email, surf, etc.  I would not recommend it if you want to use it with an mp3 player (iphone, ipod, etc) due to the lack of memory.  Otherwise it is a great little computer.  The screen and keys are a bit small fo revery day use but its portability cannot be beat.
