I bought a Dell Latitude D410 laptop after I had already purchased two (one broke; now the second has) Dell Inspiron wide-screen laptops.  I was happy with the Inspirons except for two things:  First, it was extremely heavy.  Since I travel a lot, I needed to have something much smaller and lighter to carry around.  Second, the Inspiron tended to break after heavy use (i.e., the hinges worre out.  The Latitude is unblieveably light and small.  I can carry it in its own case or even slide it into a backback or suitcase with the rest of my things.  It also is extremely durable.  I have...
