Excellent beginner keyboard

I found myself taking beginning piano lessons and quickly realized I needed a keyboard for practice at home. Unwilling to make a major investment at this point in my studies, I was gratified to find the Yamaha PRS-E313. It's a compact 61-key instrument which has let me become familiar with the basics of piano. After comparison shopping online, I settled on this model, and found it available at a local music store at a competitive price, and got the added benefit of personal customer service and the resources and knowledge of the staff about the needs of a beginner.
