I primarily breastfed my son when he was born for the first three months.  When it was time to go back to work I wanted to continue giving him breast milk.  I heard from a friend, whose child had some gas problems the first year of her life that Dr. Brown's bottles were a life saver for her.  I didn't even bother trying any other brand of baby bottles.  Dr. Brown's were a great fit for my son.  I don't remember him having any real issues with gas etc. 

The only bad thing about Dr. Brown's Bottles are all the pieces that come with it and all the cleaning that must done to properly sanitize...
