Dell 942 Photo All-In-One Printer

Great for the first few years, then suddenly goes crazy on you.

We received this model printer as a gift from grandparents during college. It worked great then and for the next few years. In recent times, however, the paper feeder developed a major problem in that it could barely take in a single sheet of paper with jamming itself, let alone several sheets in a row. You had to feed it in yourself, and then sometimes you had to do it more than once to get it right. This was bad enough, but then after changing out cartridges, it stated there was a cartridge jam, even though it worked fine the first few times after changing cartridges.
