Santa Cruz is a great place to spend spring break.  When you go to the boadwalk be sure to get the unlimited ride pass so you can ride the rides all day.  A picnic on the beach is a lot of fun.  The weather is warm in the spring but not too hot.  Perfect place to have fun in the sun.
