I received a deep fryer as a gift - the Presto Dual Basket Pro Fry. 

It is an outstanding product - allows me to fry  one large batch or 2 smaller batches at the same time, heats quickly, maintains heat, has a non-spatter lid, and collapsible and removable basket handles for easy storage. It comes apart easily and is the easiest pan I have to clean. The inner pan lifts right out to empty and wash. Another plus is the fact that it is quite light.

Having never owned or used a deep fryer before,I found the instruction booklet to be quite useful and easy to understand.
