Geotrax is a great toy train series for kids (and even adults). My parents purchased a starter GeoTrax set for my son a couple of years ago and we have continually added on to it. Compared to theThomas train set series, GeoTrax is much more affordable and I think more interesting. Some of the set pieces are very innovative. For example, the Windmill which turns when a train runs over a piece of track is neat and interesting to watch. Each major piece and train has a different theme and makes the track interesting.
